You know the festive season is on the way when the Council's calendars are filled with 'carols in the park' events. Bayside City Council is no different and has a fabulous Christmas Carols in the Park organised for its community and anyone else who'd like to join, on Tuesday 10 December 2024 from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at Dendy Park, 273 Dendy St, Brighton East. Be sure to get in early as the pre-show fun begins at 5.30pm. There'll be lots of kids activities to keep the young'uns engaged. Gather your loved ones and bring the festive spirit with you as this event is sure to get you in the mood with a night of entertainment and carolling under the stars.

Star of the stage and screen Hugh Sheridan will join the X-factor’s Amalia Foy , Australian Idol top contestant Tahlia Eve , Voice contestant Siena Fodera and Carols’ favourite MC Richard Thomas to perform their festive favourites. The Southern Area Concert Band , the Mosaic and Vocally Wild Choirs will be joined by the Bayley House Choir and Black Rock Primary School Choir. As you can see, nothing has been spared to procure you the best lineup on stage at this free event. You're in for a night of great vocalists on stage.

The event will include an Auslan interpreter, an accessible drop-off zone, a limited number of accessible parking spaces, closed captioning on the big screen, and a Marvelloo toilet facility. Most importantly, the spectacular display of the night has to be the fireworks, which will start at 9.30pm, weather permitting.
