There is some fierce competition down Jetty Road, Glenelg for the best coffee, the best cafe and the best breakfast. You are spoilt for choice when it comes to cafes and places to eat on the famous strip - there are many that are fabulous, but I dined at a cafe recently that I wanted to give a shout out to.

I was in Glenelg with my cousin and with so many cafes to choose from, we just used Google maps and searched for 'cafe' and went to the one closest to us. Not looking like much from outside, we walked in not expecting much.

Its called and it is located just off Jetty Road on Nile Street. A family-owned quiet cafe serving all day breakfast, lunch, and coffee.

Staff were very friendly as soon as we walked in. We found a table and sat down with our menus. Inside was comfortable and relaxing, and when looking at the menu, I found it to be very reasonably priced. The cafe was well appointed, there were flowers on all the tables with plastic tablecloths and beautiful art.

Not being too hungry we went half in a breakfast dish. It came with poached eggs, bacon, beans, tomato and toast. Service was fast and the serving was a good size - half was just enough for us.

I enjoyed my breakfast alongside a latte. One thing that always stands out to me when going to a cafe is the coffee. There was no fancy latte art on top, but it was delicious. Another bonus is that they don't charge extra for soy or lactose-free.

Overall, it's somewhere I would love to go again. I loved the food, service and experience. A beautiful, affordable small cafe.
