Artisan crafts and music at Wynnum.

Head to Brisbane's retro centre at Wynnum for BAM – Bayside Arts and Music Festival for the annual feast of artisan stalls, workshops and great live music.


BAM is a vibrant day for adults and children supporting some of Brisbane's finest artists, crafters and up-coming musicians.

Hosted by Wynnum Manly Artslink the event is held in the Old School Park in Florence St Wynnum from noon to 5pm.

There will be a host of interactive workshops running all day:

- Weaving by contemporary Indigenous artist Elise Carmichael
- Screen-printing workshop by local business Mason & Sinclair where you can make your own canvas tote.
- Ceramicist Ky Curran will be getting hands-on with modern ceramics in an workshop.
- Create a Papier Mache seahorse with local sculptor Daniele Lamarche-Sarvia

Workshops will be running all day, no booking required.

The Artisan marketplace will feature 42 market stalls from some of Brisbane's best artists, crafters and designers.

Sample food from:
- Dumpling Envy
- Fire n Dough Woodfired Pizza
- Men's Shed Sausage Sizzle
- Love Juice - Smoothies, juices and other drinks
- Java Soul Café - Coffee, tea, squishies



Music accompaniment will be by Wynnum youth band Sn@p - an all ages youth performance crew featuring some fabulous up-and-coming talent.

BAM - Bayside Arts & Music is an annual free event brought to the community by Wynnum Manly Artslink.
