If you like dance parties, then you will probably enjoy the [LINK https://coastaltwist.org.au/event/dance-party/ Bauhaus Fire Birds Dance party on the 5th of October at 6pm. This fabulous 18+ event at the Funhaus Factory in Gosford is for $35, and you must be registered to attend.

This is an event where you can let go of reality in a surrealist costume ball – a pinnacle event within the Coastal Twist LGBTQIA Arts and Culture festival. This is a transformative dance party, where those lucky enough to attend will meet mythical beings dancing on the ashes of their former selves as they reclaim power and ignite the dancefloor with shiny new energy.

Bauhaus Fire Birds is driven by costume, fashion, make-up, and the liberation that alter egos can give us, and it invites attendees to immerse themselves in this world of this extraordinary surrealist dance hall ball. You will be mesmerised by the dazzling performances, festival headliners and hypnotic sounds as you are transported to another realm.

You can embrace the theme and come dressed within the morphtastic surrealism world. Your costume can be inspired by hybrids, fire spirits, who you want to be in the future, immortals, or shades of red and gold, and the energy of the sun.

The organisers are anticipating a series of glamorous outfits, vibrant musical vibes, and the mayhem that comes with dancing as you join them for a night where fantasy and reality meet. And where all your dance moves are a statement of artistic expression and liberation.
