Having some free time to share some of my amazing experiences while waiting for my recently submitted PhD in Health Science thesis to be examined. Don't worry, nothing too technical to read here. Just enjoy the ride.

Where to go after you had eaten your way around Penang?
Travelling to Penang Island will not be complete without a visit to the beach. The Batu Ferringhi beach is just a mere 30 minutes from the island's Georgetown city. This is a great place for relaxing after a good meal. Blessed with year around sunny tropical weather, you can expect to see the beautiful glistening sandy beach which is matched by an equally stunning blue sky.

Pine trees
Plenty of tall pine trees to provide the needed shade from the hot sun and the sea breeze will lull you to sleep in no time.

It is hard not to notice the soft sands that will beckon you to lay down for an afternoon siesta. You may want to swim a few laps in the sea to burn all those calories from the delicious Penang foods you just ate or just simply to cool off. If that is not enough, there are also other activities such as parasailing and kayaking just to name a few that may interest you.
