The Western end of Scratchleyss on the Wharf has had an addition in the form of . The environmentally sensitive building is suspended over the river and the clever design negates the need for air conditioning. Grab a window seat and watch tugs and tankers pass by.

The interior is clean, streamlined and bright drawing you towards the view. Clever seating arrangements maximise the views with the lowest of the three height levels is closest to the windows. Groups and couples are easily accommodated and there is a relaxed chilled atmosphere to the space.

The menu is tapas based and the food that we sampled was fresh and tasty. Sourdough and pesto and marinated chicken skewers went well with a mojito & a white rabbit craft beer. The combination of good food, a couple of cold beverages , ever-changing vistas, happy friendly staff and a side of music made for a special outing.

Live music is offered 7 days a week and we were lucky enough to hear Georgina Grimshaw the afternoon we visited. We will be returning soon to experience different tastes, music and views.
