Enjoy new music, blues, jazz and rock over the Father's Day weekend with great food and a BBQ spit as the Manly Deck celebrates Father's Day in style on an open air stage.



Head down to Manly Deck at Manly Harbour Village, where it is again proudly hosting the annual Battle of the Bands grand final over the Father's day weekend of September 2 and 3. It's your chance to see the next big talent, perhaps the next Australian Idol or The Voice? And the music is all FREE.



Eighteen bands have battled through heats to win through to the grand finale to be held from noon. Both days will have 9 bands each with extra entertainment.

Saturday
· Music kicks off from noon on the car park stage with the grand final bands

Mick Diggles playing blues - 2 -3pm in his ONLY 2017 gig
· 6 piece jazz band playing - 3 to 4pm
· More final bands playing - 5 to 6 pm
· Rock and roll band Craw to finish the night from 7.30 to 8.30 pm and then upstairs from 9 to midnight.

Sunday - Father's Day – will see more live music starting from noon and 9 more bands playing in the grand final with presentations to commence from 7.30pm. To end the evening enjoy the Beatles Tribute Band The Beatlegs.



The Father's Day weekend finale will have a special Big Pigs Day in the car park at the back of the Manly Deck close to the stage. Enjoy some great amazing food with pig on the Spit with apple slaw, bread rolls and gravy along with freshly shucked oysters, fresh cooked sand crabs, Indian naan fresh from Tandoor and fresh snapper in fish chips. Hot burgers and chips are on the menu, along with the unique Manly Deck USA ribs.

Kick off your Sunday with a buffet breakfast in the carpark for $17.00. The event is family friendly and alcohol-free event with a good range of craft beers available upstairs in the main bar.



Make it a relaxed weekend in the Car Park arena, or on the top deck at the Manly Deck Bar & Restaurant with a drink from its modern bar and enjoy great food with the breeze and views overlooking Manly Harbour.



So get your family and friends together and make the Big Pigs Day and Battle of the Bands 2017 a great Sunday and Father's Day.
