Holy Night Market, Batman

Whether it's Batmobile, Batbus or Batcycle, you'll be using any transport available when you see the Bat signal shining above the Batman Night Market in Coburg on Saturday night. Not reserved only for caped crusaders, the Batman Night Market is an enticing mix of craft beer and wine, international cuisine and market stalls that will appeal to everyone from superhero to sidekick.

Enjoy a night out of the Batcave cruising the bevy of food trucks, artisan delights, textiles, jewellery and so much more while listening to some energizing live entertainment by some of Melbourne's great buskers.

Then you have to make a very important decision – What's for dinner? Holy Mackerel, Batman! This is no easy task. There's a collection of Peruvian BBQ, Chinese Dumplings, Turkish Gozleme, Mexican Paletas, Malaysian Noodles and ever so much more. In fact, the choice includes cuisine from right around the world. The website boasts café food, Chinese, Sth East Asian, Middle Eastern, Indian and European offerings in addition to a wide range of snacks and desserts. However will you choose? Then swoop into Public Bar where they will serve you the finest beverage accompaniment to any meal.

The Batman Night Market also provides the Coburg community and market guests with the best 'fresh produce and unique local products' available, spread across 123 outdoor stalls in a market area of over 3,300 sqm. There are fruit and vegetables, baked goods, meat and poultry, delicacies, dairy, health food and even pet food. Some of the stallholders include Yoggurdiction, OMG Cereals, Bean to Melbourne, Yarra Valley Strawberries, Gourmet Pies, Made by Nature, The Picklery, Captain Skewers and Little Box Brownie plus heaps more.

For the house and garden there are plants and flowers, homewares, home improvement supplies and services as well as tools and repairs. But no market is complete without a few traditional market favourites such as boutique fashion, baby accessories, art, crafts and handmade goods, cosmetics and a range of beauty products. Some of the stallholders in this section include Minds Eye Cactus Pots, Made by Loulou, Ekso, Victor's Egyptian Paintings, Tara Treasures, Second-hand Novels, Om Art Gallery, Melbourne Vintage, Terrariums by Ella, Candles with Sense, Henna by Alisa Parveen and heaps more.
