Collecting Conscious Crystals
Crystals are amazing. The sheer variety found in Australia is astounding. It has even been said that crystals are considered to be living things because of their crystalline structure and vibration/frequency. They can both encode and transmit energy and are useful tools for meditation and healing.

If you are looking for that elusive or rare crystal to add to your collection, be sure to visit the annual Bathurst Crystal Festival. This year it is on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th September at the Bathurst Showgrounds. The Crystal Festival is on from 9am to 5pm on both days so it's best to get there early to spot the best bargains.

Amongst the many hundreds of items there will be display exhibitions and also plenty of crystals for sale including jewellery, mineral specimens, beads, and fossils from Australia's top traders. Bring the kids along so they can learn all about aspects of Australia's unique geology. Crystal shows are wonderful places to see fossils up close too. Adult entry costs $5, concession is $3 and kids under 12 are free.
