Bonjour Sydney, It's Time To Get Frenchy
Celebrating its 7th anniversary this July, Bastille Festival Sydney is promising to be bigger and better than ever showcasing all things French, with Circular Quay & The Rocks transforming into a French Revolution Wonderland! There will be plenty of free experiences and entertainment as well as ticketed events such as workshops and food experience classes.

This family-friendly multicultural festival will be a French cultural celebration of food, wine and art and it will feature a massive lineup of entertainment, attractions and experiences with highlights including:

The Family-Friendly French Village
Located in front of the Overseas Passenger Terminal, this family-friendly fun village attraction will be complete with a stunning vintage carousel, selection of delightful food trucks, and family-friendly carnival festivities.

The Parisian Foodie Village:
Located at the front of Customs House, this Village attraction will be packed with all traditional French foodie treats such as raclette, crepes, saucisson, baguettes, soups, croquet-monsieur and more.]

The Gourmet Produce Alley:
Located beneath the Cahill Expessway, you will find market stalls selling fancy take-home goodies including truffles, mustards, French linen, candies and more.

Entertainment Attractions:
The First Fleet Park will transform into the Festival's main entertainment stage with a selection of favourite restaurants, who will be delivering their specialty dishes with a French fusion twist.

Le Mulled Wine Cinema:
This attraction will be located in front of the Museum of Contemporary Arts and will feature an outdoor winter cinema showcasing French cinema favourites, together with a private, hot mulled wine bar, fresh popcorn and other cinema delights.

The Rocks Christmas in July Village:
Located on Argyle Street, The Rocks, this winter French attraction will showcase a winter wonderland with Christmas decorations and Christmas themes, and all things Christmas. There will also be snow and vintage ski racks, melting cheese and mulled wine stalls, free mini ice skating rink for the little ones, snowfall machines, Christmas carol performances, French winter food stalls and more. The Culinary Journey:

Food Culture:
This event will be a culinary journey to France without the jet lag! Food Culture will showcase around 70 pop-up restaurant and terraces which will feature glorious food from baguettes to stinky cheese to traditional French cakes…

French Fusion:
Foodie lovers will love this attraction! There will be French food galore including unique creations such as Camembert Arancini, Creamy mushroom Gnocchi, French Paella, Churros with French Jams and so much more scrumptious food.

Experiences:
Wine & Cheese Feast Experience: Is a ticketed masterclass celebration France's two most enjoyable pastimes: Eating and drinking. The masterclass will be over 2 hours with a passionate Sommelier that will take you on a wonderful journey through France's finest wine and cheese regions. Click here for all details.

The Island Hunt Treasure:
This free experience will feature a forgotten locked pirate chest sitting on the Kanak Beach Village and you must unlock it! Board this unique adventure at the Aircalin counter, grab your boarding pass and your treasure map revealing 5 spots that you will explore. Suitable for all ages! Click here for all details.

The Island- Kanak Beach Village:
For the first time ever, Circular Quay will be transformed into an Island Beach Village. It will feature beach sand, island bar, coconut beach huts, fish BBQ, palm trees, beach chairs, tropical cocktails and live shows. It will take you into the Parisian experience of the 'Paris Plage' phenomenon, popping-up along the banks of the river Seine. This will be located on the eastern side of the promenade, between the ferry terminal and the Opera House. Click here for all details.

Champagne & Oyster Bar:
For a true gastronomic experience at the Festival, this French-styled Champagne and Oyster Bar will showcase the emblematic French Michelin Star-experienced chef of the chef-hatted Silverster's restaurant, Raphael Szurek five exquisite creations of oyster and sauce pairings. Bastille Wine Walk:
This French Wine Tasting Tour will feature 1.4km of wine walk. Get your French Passport, your branded tasting glass and go exploring France's most reputable wines. The Tour is self-guided and begins in front of the Customs House or in First Fleet Park and will include French Passport (gets stamped at each of the bars), Priority access queue jump pass, reusable, Bastille-branded eco wine glass to keep, a map showing the eight different wine regions located throughout the Festival. Tickets range from $27-$47pp and can be purchased here.

Other highlights, attractions and experiences at the Festival include the French Cider Bars, French Craft Beer, Mulled Wine Chalets, French Wine Bars, The Gourmet Produce Alley, and French Food Fusion Village.

There will also be Live Shows including live music bands, performances, dance performances, circus acts, cabaret, magicians, fire shows, theatre, cinema experiences including classic French comedies, family-friendly films and works by some of the great French directors as well as much more other entertainment.
