Lace up the kicks, cross up the haters
The NBL season may have finished a little while ago but that's never an excuse to stop balling. The next level of basketball is about to start in April and to kick it off and get people excited, Basketball SA are hosting a Season Launch Party on the 19th of March.
Basketball Premier League
Sturt Sabres and Southern Tigers fire up for a Round 1 finals rematch.

The Premier League pits 10 teams from around the Adelaide metropolitan area in a competition of the best and brightest basketball talent of SA. Many changes have been made in the off-season and a lot of new talent has been added to the rosters. So whether you're a Lions fan or a Warriors fan or anything in between, you can be assured that this season will be full of crazy handles, vicious blocks and 3s from the carpark.

The Season Launch itself on the 19th of March is an open event for all ages. It's guaranteed to be a fun day of face-painting, games and competitions to get everyone involved so you can have a baller time sporting your team's colours with your friends, family and all your favourite players from both the men's and women's divisions. This is a great time to show your love of basketball.

Attending the event will be Premier League captains of all 10 teams, NOVA 91.9 personality and 36ers MC Jarrod Walsh, the Rachael Sporn Academy Girls and a number of 36ers legends past and present.

The Season launch event is being held at the Wayville Basketball stadium. Doors open at 11am. This is an all ages event with activities for all. Anyone and everyone interested in basketball is welcome to come. If you have friends who you want to get into this great sport this environment is a perfect opportunity. The first games of the season for both men and womens leagues starts on April 1st. Check out the Basketball SA website for more information.
