Don't you love seeing nice photos? Want to learn how to master the art of photography using a digital camera?
It's easy to get yourself a camera and start to snap photos. If you are keen to pursue photography as a hobby or just want to have better quality images of your photos, you will need learn its technical aspects.
Here we have two photos taken by Nelson Tan, who has 25 years of experience in photography, for a comparison. The edited photo would give sharper image and better quality.
NUS Alumni Photographic Society is organising a Basic Photography Workshop. Nelson, the instructor, will share his knowledge about exposure, the effects of aperture and shutter speed settings. Participants can expect to learn about settings, techniques for sharper hand-held shots, and get tips on choosing the right lenses
Participants are expected to bring his or her own camera preferably a DSLR camera, a Micro Four-Thirds camera, or an advanced compact digital camera.
At the end of theory session, there will be a hands-on session with a team of instructors available to guide the participants.
