Adelaide's Latin dance and events specialists La Bomba Productions are hosting their 11th annual Barrio Beats Latin Festival and you're invited to enjoy all the cultural festivities!
Celebrating Dia de la Raza (Hispanic day), Barrio Beats Latin Festival is a family friendly event supported by Renewal SA and showcases traditional and new fusions of Latino eats, beats and treats.
This year's event will take place on Saturday 10th October in the new location of The Flour Shed and offers a jam packed program of cultural workshops, craft stalls, tasty food vendors and music and dance performances.
The exciting headline act is international Latin artist Don Fulano, performing all the Fulanito merengue, bachata and reggaeton classics, Quien Es Fulanito, Chillando Goma, Guallando, Cepilla, Negate, Callate and more accompanied by highly acclaimed Chilean Dj Agee OrtiZ.
Event-goers will also have the opportunity to try a Latin dance class and experience magnificent shows of Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Samba, Reggaeton, Tango, Cueca, Cumbia and more. And for the kids, there will be free face painting, pi˝atas and kids craft workshops!
Plus indulge in a range of tasty traditional savoury and sweet treats throughout the day, including Empanadas, Completo Hot Dogs, Nachos, Tamales, Arepas, Tapas platters, Alfajores, Tres Leches Cake and Triple Cherry South American Blend coffee vendors!
All this and more will take place indoors at The Flour Shed, located by the water in Port Adelaide.
All are welcome to attend: the entry fee is $15 pp and children under 15 years of age receive FREE entry.
