is a locality in Palm Beach, a suburb at the most northern tip of Pittwater. Palm Beach is known to many as the home of Home and Away, the popular Aussie TV series that still airs to date.



Palm Beach is great, but this is not about Palm Beach. Further down.. or up, is the which gives you two choices of travel on foot. One is paved, but longer, while the other is challenging, but shorter. To get the best of both worlds, I would recommend using the shorter route going up, and taking the paved path going down. Yes, it is a climb up, and the reward is an exhilarating view of Broken Bay and the Tasman Sea.



The walk from the beach to where the path to the headland begins is a walk on sand. Many would choose to walk barefoot, close to the water, and enjoy the little splashes from the tiny waves in the normally peaceful waters to the left of Palm Beach. It is water protected from open seas. To the right of Palm Beach is not so calm, the wind blows well, and the waves are inviting to surfers.



Footwear is recommended though. There is undergrowth in the shorter path, there are some rock surfaces, and there are bushes. It could also be muddy when it has rained hard. On the other hand, the paved path could cause blisters, particularly on warm days. Come with at least a thong.
