For amazing grilled fish right near Circular Quay, come to Barramundi for dinner. Came here with a business associate for a quick dinner, and although the service can make you feel somewhat invisible, once you get the attention of an all enthusiastic waiter, you are set and its time to really relax and enjoy the moment. That and a coffee, a jug of water to share or a glass of wine makes this occasion just perfect.

Snapper or a John Dory is definitely on the menu, and the glimpses of greenery is just splendid. Great to eat outside, and the fish is the all star hit thank goodness; so yes this establishment definitely practises what they preach. The salad can be a little saucy at times, or sometimes not enough but the fish definitely more than compensates for this experience, and you would be forgiven for taking your time and really enjoying the fish. Definitely well cooked and flavoursome.

It's great to come to this establishment with someone you want to have a decent conversation (or two) with. If you are in a hurry, just grab some takeaway in the nearby Metcentre instead.

I purchased two groupon vouchers for the $50 seafood platter and bottle of wine thinking I was getting a great deal. After being rudely told over the phone I must email to book I was then given very limited dining options. Not deterred I made two separate bookings.
Tonight I had my first booking. We were greeted rather coldly. We were promptly seated and given our free bottle of wine, we didn't even manage to drink half of the bottle of what they called wine. I didn't expect it to be fantastic but I also didnt expect it to that horrible.
Which bring us to having to ask for water. Is it to much to expect water to be offered? We were given two glasses which quickly ran out. I guess a bottle of tap water wasn't inclueded.
Next the meal came out and I wish it hadn't. The meal that we were served was sub standard seafood the fish was repulsive and the chips bland. The calamari was equally bad honestly the lobster was ok but there was only half a small lobster to share so itwasn't enough to save the atroshious meal. The skewer of small prawns must have been from a packet and they we totally bland. Actually I think the whole meal was probably from a packet and expertly microwaved to dissatisfaction. The ganIsh of chives over the plate was a total joke. I didn't realize people still did this!

We didn't eat half our meal and we were ignored and avoided until I asked to have it taken away. This was by far my worst food and service experience ever. I hope this reaches everyone. Avoid this place like the plague. I won't be using my second voucher I wouldnt even give it away!
