Barossa Medieval Fair

Looking for a family-friendly event this August 2021? If so, the Barossa Medieval Fair might just be the weekend away for you and your family. On Saturday the 21st and Sunday the 22nd, this annual festival will take all who attend back to medieval times with its sights, sounds and atmosphere.

This year, the Huscarls will be joining the Eastway Vikings camp for the first time. Timber Frames of Australia will provide wood carving displays and showcase medieval building techniques, while SA Scorpions Medieval Combat Team will compete in a fast pace full contact medieval combat.

The art of taxidermy dates back many centuries and the talented Brittany from Lux Taxidermy will have a range of pelts, insects and animals on offer at her stall. Moore Designs will also be there selling their unique medieval-style wooden carved items.

A single adult ticket is $19 for one day and $34 for both days. Family, concession and youth tickets are also available. Do visit their website for more information.
