Free fun film festival guaranteed to amuse the crowds
The 2014 Barossa Film Festival kicks off again from Friday 28th November for three fun filled and FREE movie days in the Barossa Valley. With over 50 films scheduled, the festival is a fun filled carnival of film, wine, beer, food and cider.

The focus of the 2014 festival is expected to be very much on emerging filmmakers whose intent is solely on the entertainment of the audience in a manner reflective of the Barossa. People are encouraged to bring their own chairs or beanbags, sit around, drink beer or wine, eat popcorn and pizza and have fun. The intent is to be as divergent from a cinema as possible.

With average film lengths of around 10 minutes, this enables people to come and go as they please. For those who stay, there are opportunities to watch a few films at the same venue, followed by some often animated discussions with friends and filmmakers afterwards about the films. Typically the films come from all parts of the world, thus providing an infusion of culture in to the Barossa.
