Adelaide's Barossa Valley situates a local bowling and miniature golf course (Barossa Bowland) located in the heart of country town, Tanunda. The scenic drive there through the vineyards and meadows of lush green grass makes any grumpy bum happy.

Adult $14.00 Children/seniors $13.00 Night time with lights $16.50 for adults and $15.50 for children/seniors
Bowling/golf packages also available.
18 holes later on the adventurous dinosaur themed course and a score card to determine the champion from the usually sore losers makes for some fun competition. A quick bite from the menu in between games lengthens the day. Thankfully not all the menu options are directed at kids (and revolve around the general Bowland meal consisting of the usual hotdog or nuggets and fries), but rather a generous wood-oven pizzas to hit any adults fancy.
While supporting a tummy full of pizza, why not continue the fun and lace up in a pair of rented red and black shoes with a couple games of bowling?
No room for bumpers here, unless of course you're five years old, competition should be kept even, though of course, light hearted.
Once the strikes, spares and splits are counted for and the fluorescent lights which make everything and anything white, shine brighter than your nana's dentures, it's time to enjoy the scenic drive back home. As the sun sets in the distance with colours of pink and burnt orange overlooking the meadows - is there anything better?
Barrosa Bowland is a fun and relaxed place to enjoy a day of family fun, adult mischief or date day any day of the week. Who doesn't like a fibreglass dinosaur roaring at them while they try and just 'tap it in' or the fear of leaving your socks at home and enduring the rented shoes? Tip: Luckily you can buy socks.
