The popular Barossa Band Festival returns on Saturday 22nd October 2016 with another fantastic evening of live music entertainment provided by accomplished brass and concert bands.

This family friendly festival evolved from the Tanunda Band Contest, which began over one hundred years ago but in recent years, organisers have decided to make the festival more modern and relaxed.

Held Tanunda Show Hall from 6pm, audiences will enjoy cabaret-style entertainment with performances by a selection of local bands from the Barossa and Adelaide. The music program has been designed to appeal to a broad audience and will have a focus on entertainment value, rather than the strict formalities of other band contests.

During the evening two adjudicators will select a winning band based on the musical quality of their presentation and entertainment selection.

There will also be a People's Choice winner, determined by the audience members 'voting' for their favourite performance by dropping gold coins in each band's pot.

To complement the cabaret-style presentation, tables will be placed around hall and audience members will be invited to enjoy delicious food and drinks available for purchase.

BYO alcohol is permitted and pre-booking is highly recommended. Come along with your family and friends and enjoy a fun evening out at the Barossa Band Festival.

Tickets are priced $20 for Adults and Children under 15 years are FREE. To purchase tickets, please contact or M: 0407 971 003.
