Christmas is coming! Love it or hate it, it will arrive, just as you will pay taxes each month!

I love the build-up to this wonderful time of year and the parties and celebrations that take place. So how about some festive fun for your dog too by coming to the BARK Complete Canine Care ! It's being held on 10th December 2017 10am-2pm at their great venue in Millendon in the picturesque Swan Valley.



It's going to be a fun packed event for all the family to enjoy with some brilliant games and competitions for your best pal to enter like Best Dressed, Most Handsome Dog, Prettiest Female Dog, Fastest Sit, Longest Downs, Egg and Spoon Race, Musical Statues, Best Trick, Sausage Slalom.



Does your dog 'sing' or 'bark'? How about dressing yourself or kids up in bells with matching bells for your best pal and get your dog to 'sing' along to Jingle Bells? Or maybe reindeer antlers for your fur baby and a red nose for you and both sing along to Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer? Let your Christmas spirit run wild!



There are plenty of shady areas under the trees at the outdoor venue and lots of water bowls dotted around for your fur friend. Bring your own chair so you can rest your feet in between competitions and games.



The cost of entry is just $5.00 per dog. All monies raised will go to three local dog charities; Shenton Park, Perth Veterinary Bill Assistance and Perth Rescue Angels. There will also be a donation box located at the venue for further donations. All donations will be handed over to the charities in time for Christmas when they are all stretched to their limits. All donations accepted, not just financial. If you have any towels, blankets, beds, sealed dog food etc, they will all be gratefully accepted and passed on.



There will be an agility course set up for owners to lead their dogs around and have a go at, with Christine on hand to lend good advice about all aspects of dog care and training. Christine has 35 years experience and is fully qualified in dog grooming, training and behavioural issues, so has lots of first-hand knowledge to share.



Wear your best Christmas t-shirts (fancy dress if you like), sing along to the carols, get the kids involved with the competitions and games and start getting festive at this unique dog friendly event. There will be plenty to keep dogs and owners entertained with a festive nibble for owners and a doggie party bag full of lovely goodies for your best pal.

You must register your interest at least 7 days in advance on their Facebook event page as spaces are limited. Click here to register your interest and keep up to date on the event details. You can always message BARK on Facebook to enquire if there are spaces available nearer the date.

All dogs will need to be kept on leads for the duration of the party and their poop scooped.
