Only 40 minutes from Melbourne and a short 5 min drive off the Calder freeway, lies New Gisborne. It's positioned at the foothills of the Macedon ranges.

Baringo is located on Station Road and is a modern Food & Wine providore, which also to my surprise has a state of the art theatre! Screening matinee movies or it can be hired for lectures, business presentations, private screenings and Film Club screenings.

Open 7 days a week from 7.30am to11pm, breakfast, lunch and dinner, it's a perfect place to catch up with friends, share a romantic dinner or host that perfect special occasion.



The cafe & providore displays quaint regional gourmet food. This is where you can stop for a quick shop and pick up some yummy jams and condiments or fresh breads. I decided to stop for a chai latte and tried one of their deliciously moist flourless orange cakes.



Adam, the manager of the cafe & providore, took me behind the red velvet curtains to showcase the amazing modern wine bar and restaurant. Nice clean lines with plenty of intimate seating areas and private tables for two to enjoy sipping some world class European wines. And what a collection they have!







Stayed to sample some wines from Trentino Region in Northern Italy accompanied by some rustic sourdough and dips. Looking forward to coming back for High tea and Japanese Izakaya!
