Kids Play At Peregian
Thinking about where to take the kids for some fun entertainment this weekend? Peregian Beach Community Kindergarten hosts the annual Barefoot in the Park celebrating Under Eights Week at Peregian Beach Park on Sunday 21st August from 9am - 11.30am. Honouring the fun of learning and play, the celebration has been continuing since 1988 and is a fantastic event for all young kids.
Celebrate the magic of being a child.
The event will include many free activities such as making dream catchers, clay modelling, bubble blowing, and the unique opportunity to explore a police car and an ambulance. Other activities such as the animal farm, face-painting and cake stall attract fees which will go towards fundraising efforts for the Peregian Beach Community Kindergarten in Rufous Street.
Peregian Markets will also be on during the event so there will be plenty to see and do for the whole family. If you have never been to Peregian Markets before, you will love the unique, handmade arts and crafts to be found there. The atmosphere is always tranquil and walking past the stalls browsing and chatting to people is a wonderful experience. Sounds like the perfect way to spend a Sunday morning with the kids, whilst also helping to support a great community cause.
