Drop into Barcelona Wine Bar on 155 Temple St, New Haven, CT. Their extensive tapas menu is available until late, and they make incredible cocktails too. Best of all, when I could not find anything on the menu that suited my dietary requirements, the chef created this perfect meal for me. Spanish pulpo pan fried with asparagus and fava beans, and seared scallops drizzled with olive oil and lemon juice. The natural flavours were subtle and sweet, making me wonder why we often add strong dressings to mask them. Eat clean – it is the best.
