Looking for somewhere special to hang out with friends? BAR100 is a delightful choice. BAR100 is a sandstone restaurant, consisting of a fine dining area, a modern bar section and a spacious outdoor area. The solid sandstone building was first built as a mariners' church more than 100 years ago (est. 1856).
Stepping into the place, I was attracted to its interior design - high ceilings garnished with elegant lighting alongside beautiful tree-shaped backdrop at the back of the fine dining section. Additionally, the arches on the sandstone walls add a touch of character.

The restaurant /bar serves Italian cuisine, modern Australian cuisine and pizza. I ordered the lunch special - smoked salmon with cherry tomato, fettuccine, feta and pesto ($15). The meal was quite good, though it's a little bit salty. While the food may not be very special here, the dining experience at a restored heritage building is unique.
