Panacea for Winter
I was coming down with a sore throat and the wind was blowing a chill outside, so I ducked into Bar Asia for a quick bite for lunch. What could be more soothing for a pending cold than a hearty soup with a dash of chilli?
While they have a range of Singaporean, Malaysian and Thai noodle offering, and the traditional curries and stir fries, the small soup menu is great for these cold winter days.
I had a Malay-style prawn soup with bok-choi and bean sprouts, with filling rice noodles. It's quick but hearty and the chilli helped me breathe a little easier.
Bar Asia offer take away too, even for the soups, so if you don't want to sit at the long, shared table, then you don't need to miss out.
So if you want to spice up your life, or at least your menu, head down to Bar Asia for a quick, tasty treat
