A beautiful and trendy cafe in the city is Bar Adyar on Kent Street. Chic and contemporary, and to be open and honest upfront it is a real pity that this establishment is not open on weekends, le sigh. However still a great establishment, and for a particular menu item in question.

It is a like a welcoming escape from the craziness and the hustle and bustle of the busy cinema end of George Street, and within good reason too. Although a great establishment to take away; do yourself a favour and eat (and drink) in here; get as far away as you can fron the front entrance because the cosiest spots at this establishment are towards the back.

Any of their food and drink menu items are just fantastic, and a hot chai tea for me in particular, goes a really, really long way for me here. A generous pot of chai, and it is taking me almost forever to consume. Great for any occasion, whether or not you are alone or with someone. Great customer service, and their prices aren't too bad either. It so does not feel like Sydney here; more so New York. I have found the best chai tea (albeit the most generous) - now the hunt is still on to find Melbourne's best chai tea of the hot variety. Real spicy chai flavours and not too milky either.
