A fun-filled community festival for all the family to enjoy

On Sunday 6 November, Eco Festival 2022, proudly presented by Banyule Council, will take Petrie Park with a fabulous showcase of garden-themed workshops and activities, display stalls, giveaways, roving entertainment, sustainability information and food trucks. Entry is FREE.

All are welcome to come along and enjoy this family-friendly and pet-friendly sustainability event! There will be lots to see and do, including come and try interactive activities and make your own workshops.

Highlights include:

  • pet photobooth

  • slime workshops

  • airbrush art (make your own tote bag or cap)

  • live reptiles on display

  • face painting

  • make your own holidays card and tree decoration

  • make your own Kokedama to take home

  • journal workshops

  • Council departments on display

  • market stalls

  • food and drink trucks

  • Plus a whole lot more!
  • Nominations for the Best Pet Competition and Show are opening soon! This inaugural competition honours the dogs, cats, birds, lizards, guinea pigs, rabbits, snakes and other non-human friends who stood by us and helped us through the darkest days of lockdowns.
