, located at 1998 Old Gympie Rd, Glasshouse Mountains, is now much easier to visit, as instead of one day a month, they now open three days a week. Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10am till 3pm.

was built in 1868 and is the oldest surviving residence in the area. This house was a staging post for the Cobb and Co coaches on the Brisbane to Gympie goldfields route.

The house is furnished with many interesting original domestic items. To take a tour of the house, you must go next door to the Mary Grigor Centre to ask for a guide. One can only visit in the company of a guide to ensure the protection of the exhibits. Tours are free.

Mary Grigor Centre is an archival visitor centre that supports . The historical group who focuses on have done lots of research into the three families that resided at the house. I was fortunate enough to visit the day they were having storytelling about these families. Many hours of research have produced a lot of interesting stories.

The expansive grounds have a few huge trees that are way over one hundred years old.

A visit to can easily be incorporated with a visit to the Glass House mountains lookout, as it is located very near the turnoff to go up the mountain. is definitely worth a visit.
