Located in the dining precinct of Westfield Tea Tree Plaza,
is known for bringing taste buds to life with delicious Thai food amidst an energetic and fun environment. You will be inspired by the rich culture of Thailand through authentic street food as well as elaborate restaurant dishes.
One of my favourites is the massaman wagyu beef, which was slow-cooked to perfection in coconut milk and traditional spices. The beef was so tender and soft that it melts in your mouth. And, of course, the baby potatoes and cashew nuts complemented it very well. The whole dish was creamy, fragrant and full of flavour.
The red curry was also superb, especially the roast duck red curry. I just loved the combination of succulent roasted duck with lychees, pineapples and tomatoes. The sweetness of the lychees came through nicely, and the dish was well-balanced.
The papaya salad consisted of shredded green papaya, tomatoes, peanuts and a chilli and lemon dressing. Although traditionally a spicy salad, nowadays you get to choose your level of spiciness, be it mild, medium or hot. You also get to choose your preferred protein as well - BBQ wagyu beef, BBQ pork or crispy soft shell crab.
Last but not least, the pineapple fried rice, one of their chef's specials, had a lovely blend of sweet and savoury flavours seasoned with turmeric. The rice was fried with a generous serving of prawns, chicken, peas, carrots and pineapples. Presentation-wise, the dish was beautifully served in a pineapple shell.
