The
Banff Mountain Film Festival is the Australian leg of the internationally acclaimed Canadian Banff Mountain Festival held every year in November. The original festival features over 300 short adventure films, from which the award winning entries and audience favourites go on to tour the globe.
35 countries are lucky enough to host two and a half hours of these high adrenalin, awe inspiring mountain adventure short films.
The short films are focused squarely around some of the world's best mountain sport, adventure, culture and exploration. See some wild and remote areas rarely visited and be completely enthralled by the
'mesmerising cinematography, thought-provoking storylines and adrenalin-inducing action sequences.'
Athletes and crew include some of the best climbers, paddlers, skiers, snowboarders, mountaineers, mountain bikers, explorers and adventure filmmakers in the world.
