Head to Queensland Tennis Centre, 190 King Arthur Terrace, Tennyson on Saturday 17 April 2021 from 6-8pm AEST and allow yourself to be transported back to the dance halls of wartime with Windsor Brass. These are songs that comforted families who were separated from their loved ones in wartime and a perfect tribute that also suits our current global pandemic where loved ones are separated from each other. In a salute to the music of wartime, this twilight concert of tunes will take you down memory lane to the swing era of Glen Miller and Duke Ellington along with the big brass sounds of popular military marches and troupe favourites to enjoy.
The Baseline Cafe and Bar will be open, so you can enjoy the entertainment with a glass of wine in your hand and a meal to stave the hunger. Food and drink from outside vendors are not allowed for this event. There's a grassed section in front of the band to bring a picnic blanket and limited seating on the paved area behind the grass. Do not attend if you are unwell and please follow all government regulations in place, so we can all keep enjoying life and keep everyone COVID safe.
