My girlfriend was staying at Bambu when we met and so I ended up spending a lot of time there.

My Princessa in her hamock
It's a great place to relax, they have hammocks and lounges by the beach from where you can go and play in the waves and the long table next to the kitchen is a fun place to hang out and socialise.

A feast in the kitchen
The kitchen is worth more of a mention as well because it is well stocked with pans, pots, cutlery, plates and other bits and bobs. We cooked here a lot as well as making a big pot of cacao to drink in ceremonial fashion while I was trying to woo her.

Bambu room looking to the sea
Miguel who looks after the place is a nice chap and would always be on hand to help or joke with us.

Bambu
The rooms that I saw were nice with beautiful bathrooms containing shell showerheads which were quite novel.

Bambu room
I also practiced one of my yoga practicums here with another friend in the big terrace of the empty family room. This space was great for us and if there are four or more of you looking for a room to share you could do a lot worse.

Drying off on the beachside bed
The only thing which could maybe improve the place would be lighting some sort of lanterns or anti-mosquito thing near the beach at sunset because I got munched a couple of times while lounging in a hammock!
