This little restaurant on a very busy road, just opposite Holmesglen TAFE, is great value.

The menu was a bit mystifying but the waitress was a delight and in noticing our bewilderment offered us suggestions as to what we might like and she was right with her suggestions. The food was tasty and each serving was very satisfying.

A word of warning to the inexperienced, the red stuff on plate which looks like a chutney is actually a sambal and very hot! For the uninitiated, taste only in small amounts and for those not well versed in the way of hot sauces just scrap it to one side or it will bring more than a tear to your eyes.

The lunchtime specials also sound like amazing value as well, and according to my dining partner also great value. The meals are quickly prepared, which is ideal for those with only a half an hour lunch break!

I loved the free water, that you could help yourself to when the need arose, the staff however were only too happy to bring a cup of fresh tap water, so it wasn't until we went to pay our bill that we noticed the lovely water basin.
