Ballet under the stars
The West Australian Ballet Company summer season returns to the Quarry Amphitheatre.

Three new Australian premieres and a world premiere brings to audiences different and exciting performances.

Hold the Forth, choreographed by Daniel Roberts based on "War is peace, Freedom is slavery, Ignorance is strength" as quoted by George Orwell, 1984.

Steptext, choreographed by William Forsythe explores moments of modern dancing as the men compete to partner with the women.

La Pluie, choreographed by Annabelle Lopez Orchoa is a beautiful raining piece.

Zip Zap Zoom, cheorographed by Annabelle Lopex Orchoa brings a fusion of several dance forms where you are drawn into a virtual world of avatars and the aim of the game is to win.

Performances are on Wednesday to Saturday throughout all of February. The final performance is on Saturday 28 February. All shows commence at 8.00pm.

Gates open at 6.30pm. You are welcome to bring your own picnic or utilise the cafe.

Prices range from $39 to $67.
