Ballarat is known for its cold weather and these school holidays (27 June - 12 July) a new annual event, called Winterlude, will be held.

One of the many activities during Winterlude is a Pop-Up Ice Skating Rink located in Ballarat CBD. Lace up your skates and take to real ice or enjoy the thrill of toboggan rides.


Ice Skating session times are one hour and they will take place between 9.30am and 7.30pm every day. Skaters must bring their own gloves and arrive 20 minutes prior to start time. You can buy your tickets online here.

Tickets for the toboggan rides are only available to purchase on site. Unfortunately pre-booking service is unavailable and will cost $5 for 5 slides.
