The third annual is taking place from 13 to 21 January, 2018 with a week of vegan-themed events. Some of the events which have taken place are the Voiceless Walk and Community Picnic, Yoga Nidra and acoustic concert.

An Expression of Compassion art exhibition at the Backspace Gallery is open daily from 12.00pm until 4.00pm during the nine-day event. There are 35 vegan-inspired artworks on display.

Lunch at Brown Grain will be held on 17 January and in the evening at 7.00pm the Ballarat Animal Advocates Association (BAAA) are holding their meeting at Zambrero.


Sally Warren will be presenting a smoothie workshop and talk on 18 January at the Backspace Gallery at 2.00pm.

What the Health movie will be screened at the Trades Hall on 19 January from 7.00pm.

A buffet dinner will be taken with Brightlight Catering on 20 January. Entertainment will feature Paige Duggan and Wayne Parker. Karen Pohlner from WALA Animal Sanctuary will be the guest speaker.

There's a colouring competition for the children, supporting Edgar's Mission.


On the final day of the festival (21 January), there's a brunch from 10.30am and a wrap party will be held at Trades Hall at 1.00pm. Food and drink will be available. Andy Meddick from Animal Justice Party will be guest speaker and The Bilbrough Sisters will entertain guests.

There are various costs involved but will vary on each event.
