Ballarat Lyric Theatre Presents 'The Phantom of the Opera'

Ballarat Lyric Theatre will present "The Phantom of the Opera" at Her Majesty's Theatre , Ballarat from 21 February to 9 March.

The Ballarat Lyric Theatre was established in 1963 to produce professional-quality musical theatre for Ballarat and district audiences. They produced one major show per year.

For the first time, Ballarat audiences will experience Andrew Lloyd Webber's most acclaimed work and it will be performed for 13 shows only.


This production will feature a cast of 34 actors and a 24-piece orchestra. Andrew McCalman will play the Phantom, Molly Fry as Christine and principals cast members include Shaune Davis, April Foster, Keith McNamara, Gareth Grainger and Callan Lewis.

Director Stephen O'Neill, who will be directing the performances said "the production was comprised of a talented cast, extravagant scenes and amazing costumes."
