Every year, Ballarat has carnivals galore that are family-friendly, with something for everyone. Filled with activities, some are seasonal and some festive, but you can be assured it's always exciting with fun things to do. It's a time when families can create memories with rides, adventures and more.

Hosted by The Victorian Showmen's Guild , the Ballarat Family Carnival is coming your way from 8-10 November 2024 (Fri 5-10pm; Sat 10am-10pm; Sun 10am-5pm) at Morshead Park, Ballarat. Entry is just $2 per person. As per the poster above, there's going to be fun for all ages, amusement rides, sideshow games, showbags, show food and lots more. Thu 31 Oct 6-10pm - Ballarat Race Night - a night at the Trots in the Terrace Restaurant.

Fri 1 Nov 4-8pm - Spring Market - Ballarat Nightlife Market - over 80 stallholders, street food traders, kids activities, and all a market entails. Unfortunately, no dogs are allowed.

Sat 16 Nov 2-8pm - The Big Thrift Market - a new and exciting event that's sustainable with a secondhand and recycled treasure trove of pre-loved clothes, shoes, jewellery, homewares etc.

Sun 23-24 Nov 10am-4pm - Ballarat Brick Show - 40 tables of custom-built LEGO® models on display with themes ranging from Star Wars, Architecture and Marvel to a huge City layout; plus a play table for kids to get creative.

Sun 24 Nov 10am-4pm - SpringFest Ballarat - Show n Glow - a stunning display of classic cars. The event is calling out to all vintage and classic car enthusiasts. There's live band entertainment throughout the day.

Sat 21 Dec 1-8pm - Christmas Spectacular Market - a festive day of holiday cheer, unique gifts, great food and more.
