Get into top gear on 15 February with a ride for research on the famous Cycling Australian Road National Championships course at Mount Buninyong.

The Classic includes a 50 kilometres, 60 kilometres, 85 km and 100km road ride options, which start and finish around the rejuvenated water-filled Lake Wendouree.

A two and a half hour relay ride circumnavigating Lake Wendouree is available for the social rider of all ages. The Cycle Classic Fat Tyre Challenge is a 25 kilometres and 50 kilometres course aimed at those who like to ride on fat tyres in baggy nicks.

If cycling is not your thing, you can participate in the inaugural Lap of the Lake Celebration Walk. The six kilometre walk around the picturesque Lake Wendouree.

A Family Fun Day will features free kids entertainment, climbing wall along with quality food and beverages.

All of the registration fees support the Fiona Elsey Cancer Research Institute. Since 2008, the Ballarat Cycle Classic has raised over $1 million dollars for Cancer Research.

Sign up for the Ballarat Cycle Classic on 15 February to celebrate and honour those impacted by cancer, as well as raising vital funds for research into detection and prevention.
