The Ballarat Cabaret Festival is Australia's only regional Cabaret Festival and opens on Thursday 10 October until Sunday 13 October, 2013.
During the four days there will be fourteen shows featuring a variety of entertainment of this country's best cabaret talent. An all-star gala hosted by Geraldine Quinn will kick off the four days of events.
In 2013, the festival features the highly praised show "Star Struck" featuring international sensation Trevor Ashley; Catherine Alcorn who was a hit last year is back as "The Divine Miss Bette"; smash hit from the Melbourne and Adelaide Cabaret Festival Rachel Dunham presents "Oprahfication" an extraordinary portrayal of Oprah Winfrey; Ballarat's own Amie Brûlée is back with a new show "Gastronomique"; and the Festival will go late into the night with a Piano Bar hosted by Cabaret identity Trevor Jones.
