Ballarat's annual Beat Rockabilly Festival is billed as a fabulous street party highlighting all things 1950's including fashion, music, cars & dancing and the 2016 event, to be staged from February 11th to 14th, promises to be bigger and better than anything that's gone before it.

The epicentre of the event will be historic Lydiard Street between Sturt and Mair Streets with music and other events taking place in various venues including the George Hotel, The Hop Temple, Lydiard Wine Bar and the Ballarat Mining Exchange.
Live music begins on Thursday evening and continues every night until Sunday. The signature street party takes place on Lydiard Street from 10 AM til 5 PM on both Saturday and Sunday.
Events include the Rockabilly Babes Burlesque on Friday & Saturday nights, the car show displaying some awesome vehicles on both Saturday and Sunday, the Ballarat Beat Pinup Competition on Saturday plus dance demonstrations and lessons
on both Saturday and Sunday.

All indoor music venues and special events like the Prom, Burlesque and the Kids Band are ticketed entry.
The Street Party incorporates a number of free events including live music, a dance floor with DJ, the cars, some fashion events and the Ballarat Beat Pinup Competition.
Live performances feature bands like THE LINCOLNS, ATOMIC HI-TONES, THE KINGCATS and THE DETONATORS to name just a few.

A Festival Pass gets you unlimited access to all ticketed performances, events and areas as well as entry to special events including Burlesque and The Prom. There is a limit of one Burlesque performance per pass.
Adult ticket prices are:
Ballarat Beat festival Pass $120 – provides entry to all ticketed events from Thursday through to Sunday.
Ballarat Beat Day Pass $55 – gives entry to all ticketed events for a single day, either Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
Individual Live Band performances $20 at the door.
Pay at the door prices vary for special events including the Valentines Day Prom, Burlesque shows and the kid's band, The Rrrrrockets.
