After attending the inaugural Ballarat Apron Festival in 2014, I'm excited that it will be held again in conjuction with Ballarat Heritage Weekend on the 9 and 10 May.
The event showcases a gorgeous display of vintage aprons and memorabilia alongside some fabulous modern and vintage inspired aprons entered in the apron making competition. Entries for last year's festival were from all over Australia including Queensland, New South Wales and South Australia.
Entrants are invited to contribute up to three pieces across a variety of seven categories including prettiest baking apron, best embroidery and vintage/heritage style.
Come and participate at the Make 'n' Take table with three projects each day including Felt bookmark to stitch, Suffolk Puff pin and Tomato pin cushion. Kits will be available for purchase for $3.00 each.
