Splash out with the kids this summer at Balga Leisurepark – which has a shaded water playground as well as a children's swimming pool.

In the playground, children can spray each other with water, run through spraying hoops and stand beneath a contraption which unexpectedly dumps buckets of water on their heads.

Don't worry if the playground appears to be 'off' when you visit. Just touch the round sensors on the equipment to make it work.

In addition to the children's pool and playground, there is a fast-flowing 'river' to float down, as well as a 25-metre lap pool, hydrotherapy pool, crèche, and gym.
