I have previously used the services of Baldivis Veterinary Hospital myself when I lived near this area some years ago. I always found them to be efficient and helpful.

Baldivis Veterinary Hospital is holding their Open Day on Sunday 31st March 2019 from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm. They are situated at 597 Baldivis Road, Baldivis. They generally serve the Baldivis and Rockingham areas though sometimes clients come from further afield as they are also an equine and large animal vet.

This year, they are celebrating 35 years of love and excellent veterinary care and management say they would love for you to join them. Come down and see what goes on behind the scenes of this well-equipped animal hospital. You can also meet all the vets and nurses who care for your animals 24 hours of every day.

Baldivis Vet Hospital is an advanced surgery centre, an emergency vet and as mentioned, are equine veterinarians as well.

On the open day, there will be lots of family fun and entertainment such as:

Pony Rides for the children

Australian wildlife display

You can get a photo taken with a Koala face painting

Bouncy Castle

Balloons

Ice cream van

For the over 18's - a licensed bar

Live music

Entertainment

There will also be the local community rescue and animal services organisations attending and these will include:

Don't Go Astray - strive to help animals and families in need by making sure every animal has a chance at a happy, healthy life, no matter what the cost. They are an organisation run by vet nurses who were tired of seeing animals left untreated and left without a home because of financial burdens.

Greyhound Adoptions WA - are a not-for-profit animal welfare organisation. The primary mission of Greyhound Adoptions WA is to rescue and re-home greyhounds. They have a no kill policy and take in dogs who have not made the grade on the track. They then look for their forever homes.

Get Barked - offer a range of dog products, pet sitting, pet taxi and dog walking.

Perth Rescue Angels - is a not-for-profit animal rescue charity that helps to change the lives of homeless, neglected, surrendered and abused animals through foster care and adoption. They specialise in taking on and rehabilitating undomesticated cats and kittens, as well as special needs cats and kittens.

Staffy and Bully Rescue - SABBR's preference is only to rehome dogs in WA homes as they see the relationship with SABBR Boofas as a forever relationship. All dogs for adoption and or foster are listed on this link.

And more

Equine Vets will have a farrier on display and you will be able to tour the stables and the equine operating theatre.

There will also be a sausage sizzle available on the day and proceeds of this will go to charity.
