Where has this cafe been all of my life?

A balmy Saturday stroll in Port Melbourne does things to a person. It makes them think of grass between their toes and the smell of someone cooking or burning something on the bbq. What ever it is that summer weather does to you, let it take you to Port Melbourne and enjoy the 'everything' it has to offer. Seeing as you're reading an article written by me, you know I'm here to tell you about coffee and cafes, so here we go...

Along Bay Street you'll find . Communal tables, bright sunlight, wood, glass and fresh flowers. It's that corner cafe you've driven past or often fantasised about. Their coffee is by 5 Senses and Seven Seeds.

Their food menu looks great and I can't wait to come back here and try it out. The awe inducing element of Balderdash is the towering board of coffee they have on offer. The faces I pulled and noises I made when I found out I could order coffee that has hints watermelon and grape, or raspberry and tobacco. For those of you who are raising one eyebrow, looking at the screen like Han Solo does at everyone in that "Are you serious?" way, yes, coffee, particularly espressos are able to have complex flavours that venture to stonefruit territory.

Cold drip. Costa Rica Herbazu Naranjo.
Chocolate flavours creep on to my tongue with a bit of orange acidity. This has a slight oily mouth feel. Cold drips, like this one, are the perfect accompaniment for a hot day. If you haven't had cold drip before you need to try it a place like this, with the sun on your back.

I will return, will you?
