In Baking Kids Love, Cindy Mushet describes instructions from how to dress when baking, all the way to rolling out dough. Mushet's daughter Bella is also throughout the book.

The first part of the book is on cookies. Bella states that she likes to have her cookies warm. The chapter starts out from Secret Ingredient Chocolate Chip Cookies to Perfect Peanut Butter Cookies, where Bella states that instead of pressing with a fork, to make a thumbprint in the middle with some jelly.

In Pies, Tarts, and Fruit Desserts, Bella says that each fruit can tell you what season it is. Starting out with Easy Pie Dough to Top-Crust Jumbleberry Pie.

Quick Breads starts out with Bella saying that one may make quick breads fast when hungry. Included are Crunchy-Top Vanilla Scones to Scrumptious Strawberry Shortcake

The chapter on Cakes tells of everything from Chocolate-Peanut Butter Cupcakes to Pumpkin Gingerbread.

Yeast Breads discusses Soft And `Sweet Cinnamon Rolls to Chocolate Chunk Bread Pudding.

In Opinion

With all of the recipes requiring fruit, you do not have to go strict with the recipe. Mix or match with the fruit you personally like.

You may know some recipes by different names. For example, the recipe Top-Crust Jumbleberry Pie is known to my family as Raspberry Squares.

The cookbook is easy to follow. Bella makes the recipes real and interesting for kids.

I give this cookbook a 5-star rating.
