Thanks to a recent review posted by curiouser&curiouser, I decided to visit the Bakinaire Bakery - a quaint little macaron store carefully tucked away on the Parade in Norwood with a beautiful and modern decor.

My personal favourite is the salted caramel-flavoured macarons, so on noticing a salted caramel tart, I knew what I was ordering.

The beauty of macarons is that it instantly melts in your mouth, and you can enjoy the crunchy and soft nibbly bits all at once. It's like a delicious explosion occurring in your mouth.

So if you're a fan of sweet and salty at once, then you absolutely must try the salted caramel tart - they provide a cheesecake too, and I wish I had the capacity to give that a go as well. But that's alright - that's why there's the freedom of being able to visit a store more than once.
