I love to sit and have a meal as much as the next person. But what to do when you're in a hurry, too hungry to think, and your wallet is starting to run low? Well, why not skip on down to Bills Bakery Café? Honest, it is the cutest little place. Right on the esplanade, the bakery has coffee to heal the Monday blues, sweets to satisfy your craving sweet tooth and meals when you're looking for a friendly place for lunch. The prices on the menu will shock you - I have to say, they shocked me. It is a rare occurrence to hear that my wallet isn't objecting to my spending, and it was silent when I visited this bakery.

The subtle modesty is shown through the petit size of the shop- quite tight, though enough elbow room to breath. I love small, intimate places, and this particular shop made me think of a family bakery, with a fresh, delicious aroma seeping out of the kitchen and sitting on the tip of your tongue, intoxicating by scent, and hypnotising by sight. I just felt like smiling when I walked inside. The bright and clean room welcomed me in with a grin on its face, saying 'please have a seat'.

I loved the display of deserts; my eyes were fixated on the bouquet, mouth watering. I was shocked to see a lunch menu, as I had never visited before, it is one of those places you glance at and walk on by. Not a fancy presentation, mind you, however you will regret reading this and then continue to walk on by. If not for your tastebuds, do it for your wallet. Such reasonable pricing is something everyone searches for, and has such a hard time finding.

If you want my advice, you should visit this place. Don't be fooled by outside appearances, after all, you should never 'judge a book by its cover', is that not the saying? Accompanying this sweet store, the staff are helpful and friendly. The speedy service is something you will thank them for if you walk in with an empty stomach. I received my food within five minutes, and my gosh, was I hungry; and grateful.

If you ever go down to Warners Bay and walk the esplanade, my recommendation is to visit Bills Bakery Café, whether it be for a meal, a sweet or just a quick cup of coffee. You will feel quite classy and maybe time will be kind enough to stand still for you, like it did for me, to appreciate your pleasures for the moment you're there.
