It's hard to miss.

They open at 6.30 am for the breakfast trade with the usual breakfast fare.

Their extensive menu includes, pies, pasties and quiches all made on the premises to eat in or take-away.

Freshly made sandwiches, focaccias and salads are also available.

If you are a coffee and cake addict like me, you are spoiled for choice.

A quick glance at their display cabinets reveals, custard, fruit and lemon meringue tarts, vanilla, peppermint and fruit cake slices. Lamingtons, croissants, and Danish pastries add to your difficulty in choosing.

Take your pick.

My first visit there I enjoyed my hot coffee and a delightful canoli.

Coffee & paradise on a plate.

On another visit, I enjoyed my coffee with a fruit tart. Every visit different tarts, slices and pastries appear. On one visit, I spied some beestings, another of my favourites.

Outside the café, the footpath widens making for nice open air dining, complete with large shade umbrellas.

alfresco dining
Very popular.

It is my go-to spot if I'm in Mooroolbark at coffee time.
