Baked in Blairgowrie, home to what are possibly Australia's best vanilla slices, is a family run bakery on the Mornington Peninsula. What began as one bakery has expanded to three, in Rye, Sorrento and Blairgowrie.

The bread is baked fresh daily, and is free of preservatives. Many varieties are made, from standard white loaves to more exotic offerings such as beetroot, basil and garlic.

The bakery also offers coffee and a great range of cakes, slices, pies rolls and sandwiches. The staff are friendly, and are always happy to have a chat.

Also available are a range of gourmet cakes, which are also supplied to local restaurants. Favourites include the Greek fig and coconut, the tangy lemon curd tart, and the decadent chocolate mud cake. Celebration cakes for birthdays, weddings, or any other celebration can also be ordered.
